A few weeks ago I was invited by the RIBA to contribute some thoughts for an article on communicating effectively. This is a subject that consumes many of my working hours, but responding to a handful of very specific questions reminded me how writing forces us to articulate our swirling mass of thoughts and get to the bottom of our own ideas. In other words: the process of writing is good for our brains and good for our creativity.
That seems to me to be a very good reason for all of us (including me) to write about what we do.
Here’s the article on the RIBA website.
