I’m going off to London today – something I don’t do nearly as often as I used to – because it’s the Archiboo Awards. My clients George & James are up for Best Written Content, which means, of course, that I’ve got a very vested interest in what happens tonight.
It’s actually the third year in a row my clients have been shortlisted in that category. In 2019 it was both Turner Works and Finkernagel Ross, and in 2020 it was Studio Egret West – who actually went on to win ‘Best Overall’. That was a lovely – if virtual – moment.
I love these awards, and I love the many different categories that celebrate all the people hidden away in corners and working away to make great websites – the clever techy people, the clever creative people, and the particularly clever people who manage to be both techy and creative at the same time. So here’s to a lovely gathering of them all, and to Archiboo for everything it does to celebrate them.
