Images and words – pitching one against the other

Tanisha Raffiudin and I spent Wednesday lunchtime running a storytelling workshop hosted by Women in Architecture.

We had a lot to cover so it was a bit of a whistle-stop tour through how to tell a great story in words, and then how to do the same in images. And, once we’d done that, we pitched one against the other.

We both agree it’s a case of knowing their strengths and not relying on words when images could do a better job, and vice versa.

So for anyone who was there and wants a quick reminder – as well as for anyone who wasn’t there but wishes they had been – here’s our chart, in the image above.
